Paul Broun is still on the campaign trail trying to play down the federal criminal investigation into his alleged abuse of taxpayer dollars. So, the Collins campaign has put out a television ad to set the record straight.
Despite his insistence that there is nothing to the federal criminal investigation into his abuse of taxpayer funds, former Congressman Paul Broun's former Chief of Staff has been indicted on federal charges. This news comes just a few months after Broun's former strategist and debate coach pleaded guilty in U.S. District Court to lying to investigators about his relationship with Broun’s office.
All roads in this criminal case lead back to career politician Paul Broun. When is he going to take responsibility for abusing taxpayers hard earned money? It certainly did not happen at this weekend's debate.
Once again, social media is abuzz with Paul Broun's scandals:
Doug Collins was the clear winner of the Hall County GOP Debate, the first of several debates he will be attending this election.
While Paul Broun spent his allotted time making excuses for bankrupting his office and the illegal use of official funds, Doug laid out his plans to combat ISIS, fix our broken Social Security system, and protect the lives of the unborn.
When former Congressman Broun lied again about not voting for an Omnibus bill, Doug spoke the truth, saying:
“Paul, I’m fed up too. You know what I’m fed up with? Politicians not being truthful. In 2007, Nancy Pelosi’s first year, you and John Boehner both voted for the Omnibus bill."
